What is Frestrusion?

Freshtrusion™ allows more fresh ingredients to be used in dry dog foods than any other extrusion system in the world, including fresh meat, fresh vegetables, herbs and ‘botanicals’.

Where is the meat sourced?

We use trusted farms & fisheries to collect the finest fresh meats & fish. It is then transported and refrigerated to the factory in Lincolnshire, England.

How do you cook the meat?

The meats are gently cooked at 82ºC (180ºF) to protect the proteins and ensure maximum digestibility and nutritional value to the pet. This is then able to reduce the moisture content of the freshly prepared meat inclusion and allows us to include increasingly high amounts of fresh meat into market-leading recipes.

How fresh is the food?

We know that fresh is best when it comes to our animals so thats why fresh meat is in our recipes. Using our unique process, we develop recipes that provide the highest levels of fresh meat and providing pets with the most delicious, nutritious, beneficial meal. 

What oils are used?

Only human grade oils & fats are used in our kibble. These are carefully created using dedicated technology, they are not your usual high temperature rendered ‘pet food grade’ oils. They are so fresh the laboratory testing finds little to no signs of oxidisation or ageing.

To summarise, our ingredients come from the source, refrigerated while being transported, gently cooked to protect the protein, thus giving your dog the yummy nutritious food they need.
