Anco Nutrients Hemp Oil with Herbs

Anco Nutrients Hemp Seed Oil

Anco Cold Pressed Hemp Seed Oil is a 100% natural supplement full of omega 3 and omega 6. Both omega oils can be very beneficial to a dogs diet as they cannot make omegas themselves - it has to be supplemented from what they eat.

These essential fatty acids are important to your dog as they help to support a healthy immune system and heart, hydrate and soothe dry or itchy skin, maintain a glossy coat, ease joint and hip stiffness to aid mobility and enable optimal cognitive function. In addition, the natural antioxidants in Anco Nutrients Hemp Seed Oil, have neuroprotective qualities so can be said to give your dog a 'brain boost'.

For natural weight control, Anco Nutrients Hemp Seed Oil is one of the few natural sources of gamma-linoleic acid or GLA, which helps to:- satiate dogs so they feel fuller for longer (and are therefore less likely to overeat); increase energy (which helps with motivation to exercise), and boost metabolism(to help burn fat).

By cold pressing hemp seeds, the important omega fatty acids are not broken down and can be readily absorbed by your dog. Hemp seeds have all the high levels of naturally occurring vitamins and minerals found in Hemp without the psychoactive compounds (THC).

Not only does the Anco Nutrients Hemp Oil have a perfect ratio of Omega 3 and Omega 6, but it also has a mixture of adaptogenic herbs added.

  • Perfectly Balanced Omega 3 and 6 Essential Fatty Acids
  • Great for the Relief of Stress, Muscle Tension and Pain
  • Helps Maintain Joint Mobility
  • Healthy Heart and Brain
  • GLA for Natural Weight Control

Anco Nutrients Chia Oil with Herbs

Anco Nutrients Chia Seed Oil

Anco Nutrients Chia Oil is made, as the name suggests, from sustainably sourced chia seeds! Chia seeds are a nutrient-dense ‘superfood’ that are an excellent source of B vitamins, Calcium, Iron, Zinc & Magnesium, and also contain high levels of polyphenols and carotenoids (natural antioxidants). All these contribute to a boost in vitality and stamina for your dog.

Chia is the richest natural source of plant-derived Omega-3 oil. Dogs must obtain these through their diet, which is why they are deemed 'essential'. By cold pressing the Chia Seed rather than heat extracting, the important Omega fatty acids are not broken down and their qualities affected. These essential fatty acids are important to your dog as they help strengthen the immune system; maintain a healthy heart, joints, skin and coat; assist normal brain and eye development and provide anti-inflammatory benefits.

In addition, Chia has been shown to slow the conversion of carbohydrates to sugars and therefore assists in stabilising blood sugar levels, contributing to naturally high levels of energy and endurance. In turn, stable blood sugars support normal insulin function whilst slowing down digestion to enable the proper absorption of nutrients-helping dogs to feel satiated for longer.

Anco Nutrients Chia Oil has three times the amount of Omega-3 as Salmon oil. Its Omega 3’s are also more shelf-stable - meaning they last longer and stay fresher once you open the jar than salmon oil would! Anco Nutrient Chia Oil also contains the same adaptogenic herbs for a nutrient boost as the Anco Nutrient Hemp Oil.

  • Packed with Natural Vitamins, Minerals and Antioxidants
  • Chia for Stamina, Endurance and vitality
  • Omega 3 helps joints and glossy coat
  • Hypoallergenic

 The Importance of herbs

Adding herbs to your dog’s diet is an easy way to give them a vitamin and nutrient boost. Anco Nutrient Oils are made with 99.5% Hemp or Chia Oil, depending on the product, and the other 0.5% is made up with their herbal health supplement. This might not sound a lot, but the added herbs are very nutrient-dense herbs, also known as adaptogenic herbs! Adaptogenic herbs increase the body’s ability to resist the damaging effects that stress has on the body, and help restore normal psychological functioning.

The herbs included in the Anco Nutrient oils are-

  • Peppermint leaves, support the digestive system.
  • Cumin Seeds, which are a rich source of antioxidants.
  • Fenugreek supports the reduction of inflammation inside the body and improves digestion.
  • Liquorice Root helps to maintain a healthy weight and is an immune system booster.
  • Turmeric is a natural anti-inflammatory and aids digestion.
  • Fennel is high in natural antioxidants and supports the respiratory and digestive system.
  • Chamomile Blossom is soothing and calming, boosts the immune system and supports normal liver function.

How to feed

Gradually introduce the Anco Nutrients Oils to your dog’s diet over two or three days until you reach the dose of 5ml per 10kg bodyweight daily. Once your dog is used to having these oils in their diet they can be fed more interactively. Anco Nutrients Oils make a great topper to mealtimes, but they can be added to a licki mat or the inside of a kong. Store in a cool dark place or the fridge.

Who to feed?

Most dogs would benefit from extra omega 3 in their diet! As mentioned previously, dogs rely on their food to obtain these healthy oils and most modern-day diets could do with a bit of help in boosting up those omega levels. Whether your dog is Dry Kibble, Wet or Raw fed, adding a drizzle of Nutrient Oil to your dogs day can help.

Which oil to feed?

For an all-round health and vitality boost, a glossy coat and to aid growth in puppies go for the Anco Nutrients Chia Seed Oil!

For the more anxious, stiff or elderly dog, Anco Nutrients Hemp Seed Oil would be a great choice to help calm, loosen joints and give a brain boost.
